The countdown to GTA 6 pre-orders is nearly over. Yet it is the game’s possible price that has grabbed attention this week.
A retailer listing from Portugal has appeared online, showing several versions of Rockstar’s upcoming blockbuster. If the information is accurate, some players could be facing a very expensive launch day.
Five versions spotted online
According to reports, the retailer briefly listed five GTA 6 editions. Prices ranged from €89.99 to €199.99, which roughly converts to between $103 (£76) and $229 (£169).
The listings did not include official edition names. They were instead marked with placeholder labels. That has left fans guessing what each version might contain.

The lower-priced options are likely standard and deluxe editions. The higher-priced versions could include bonus content, collector’s items, or GTA Online extras.
Don’t take it as fact just yet
As dramatic as the numbers look, there are good reasons to stay cautious.
European retail prices often include VAT. Physical retailers can also add their own mark-ups. Because of that, prices shown by shops do not always match the final digital store price.
Leaks like this have been wrong before. Placeholder dates and prices are common ahead of major launches.

Official details are close
Even so, the leak has restarted the debate around game pricing. Many players already expect GTA 6 to push beyond the current premium game price.
The good news is that answers should arrive soon. Rockstar is expected to reveal official pricing when GTA 6 pre-orders go live on 25 June.
