Keychron upgrades its split keyboard lineup with the new Q11 Ultra

Keychron has expanded its premium keyboard lineup with the launch of the new Q11 Ultra, a split mechanical keyboard designed for users who want both comfort and modern wireless features. Compared to the older Q11 model, this version brings major improvements, especially in connectivity and battery performance.

The new Q11 Ultra no longer needs a cable between the two keyboard halves. Both sides now communicate wirelessly, giving users a cleaner desk setup and more freedom while working or gaming. The keyboard supports Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, and wired USB-C connections.

Keychron says the keyboard can last up to 300 hours on a single charge, depending on usage. It also supports an 8K polling rate in wired and 2.4 GHz modes, offering very quick response times.

The keyboard uses a 75% layout with a split design for better hand positioning. Unlike fully ergonomic keyboards that may feel strange at first, the Q11 Ultra keeps the traditional key arrangement, making the transition easier for most users.

There are also extra features for power users, including five programmable macro keys on the left side and two control knobs. Users can customise the keyboard layout, RGB lighting, and knob functions through Keychron Launcher software.

The body is made from CNC-machined aluminium, giving the keyboard a strong and premium feel. It comes with double-shot PBT keycaps and supports hot-swappable switches, allowing users to change switches without soldering.

Buyers can choose between Keychron Silk POM Red, Brown, or Banana switches. The keyboard is currently offered in a black colour option with blue accent keys.
