KTC is expanding its Mini LED monitor range as the display technology becomes more affordable for everyday users. Once considered a premium feature found only in expensive monitors, Mini LED is now reaching a much wider audience thanks to falling prices and improvements in manufacturing.
Recent industry data from TrendForce shows that global Mini LED monitor shipments have grown rapidly in recent years. At the same time, prices have dropped significantly, making the technology more attractive to gamers, office users, content creators, and home entertainment enthusiasts.

Just a few years ago, Mini LED monitors often sold for more than $800. Today, many models are available between $280 and $430, while some entry-level options can be found for under $300. This sharp drop in pricing has helped Mini LED move closer to the mainstream market.
One of the main reasons behind its growing popularity is its balance between performance and reliability. Unlike OLED displays, Mini LED monitors do not face burn-in concerns. They also offer much higher brightness levels than traditional IPS panels, making them a strong choice for HDR content, gaming, and creative work.

Consumer research also highlights several reasons why buyers are increasingly choosing Mini LED displays. Many users value the high brightness needed for HDR movies and games, while others appreciate the long-term stability offered by burn-in-free technology. Affordability has also become a major factor, with many consumers seeing Mini LED as a way to enjoy premium image quality without spending OLED-level money.
To support this growing demand, KTC is investing heavily in its own Mini LED technologies. The company has developed a COB backlight solution that uses a one-light-one-zone design. This technology can support up to 2,304 local dimming zones and reach peak brightness levels above 1,400 nits.

According to KTC, the design helps improve contrast, black levels, and overall image depth while reducing unwanted light blooming around bright objects on screen. The company says these improvements allow its Mini LED monitors to deliver a viewing experience that comes closer to OLED quality while maintaining the durability advantages of Mini LED technology.
KTC is also using its manufacturing and supply chain strengths to introduce more affordable Mini LED monitors. By bringing advanced display features to lower price points, the company hopes to make premium monitor technology available to a larger number of users.
Industry analysts expect Mini LED monitor shipments to continue growing over the next few years. As prices fall further and the technology continues to improve, Mini LED is expected to play a bigger role across gaming, office work, content creation, and home entertainment, helping shape the future of the monitor market.
