GameSir Unveils Tarantula 8K PC Controller with Ultra Fast Speed and Precision

GameSir Tarantula 8K PC

GameSir has expanded its gaming controller lineup with the launch of the new Tarantula 8K PC, a wired controller created for players who want faster response times and greater control. Built only for PC, the new model combines high-speed performance with a lightweight body and several features aimed at competitive gaming.

The biggest highlight is its 8000Hz polling rate, which allows the controller to send input data to the PC much more frequently than standard controllers. According to GameSir, this results in an ultra-low response time of just 0.25ms, helping players react more quickly in fast-paced games.

The Tarantula 8K PC also introduces GameSir’s second-generation Mag-Res TMR thumbsticks. These magnetic sticks are designed to provide smoother movement and improved accuracy while reducing the risk of stick drift. Since they rely on magnetic sensing instead of physical contact, they are also expected to offer better long-term durability.

Another standout feature is the set of Hall Effect analog triggers. Players can instantly switch between full analog movement for racing titles or short trigger travel with a mouse-like click for FPS and action games. The controller also features micro switch face buttons that deliver faster activation and a satisfying click with every press.

For users who enjoy customizing their controls, the Tarantula 8K PC includes nine programmable buttons. These extra buttons support macro recording with up to 32 actions, allowing gamers to create shortcuts or special commands for different games. Everything can be adjusted through the GameSir Connect software, including button mapping, trigger settings, stick sensitivity, RGB lighting, and custom profiles.

GameSir has kept the controller extremely light by removing the battery and vibration motors. Weighing only 180 grams, it is designed to stay comfortable during long gaming sessions while maintaining a solid grip thanks to its textured handles.

The controller also includes a built-in six-axis gyroscope for supported games, a tactile D-pad, adjustable turbo mode, onboard profile storage, trigger calibration, joystick dead zone adjustment, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a detachable USB-C cable.

The GameSir Tarantula 8K PC is available now through the official GameSir store for $69.99 in the US and £79.99 in the UK. The company has also confirmed that Amazon availability will follow at a later date.
