Beyerdynamic has officially introduced the new Beyerdynamic DT 30 IE in-ear monitors, giving musicians an affordable and reliable monitoring solution for live performances. Designed for rehearsals, concerts, and stage use, the new model combines clear sound, strong noise isolation, and a durable build.
The Beyerdynamic DT 30 IE is equipped with an 11 mm dynamic driver that delivers balanced audio across a frequency range of 5 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The tuning is designed to help performers hear every detail of their mix clearly, even in noisy venues with loud instruments and changing acoustics.

One of the standout features of the DT 30 IE is its passive noise isolation. The in-ear monitors can block up to 39 dB of outside noise, allowing musicians to focus on their performance without being distracted by crowd noise, drums, or amplifiers.
Comfort has also been a major focus. Each earpiece weighs only 2.7 grams and features a compact ergonomic shape for a secure fit during long rehearsals and energetic live shows. Beyerdynamic includes three sizes of silicone ear tips and three sizes of foam ear tips to help users find the right fit.

The DT 30 IE is built for demanding stage environments. With an IP54 rating, the monitors are protected against dust and water splashes, making them suitable for everyday professional use. This added durability can be especially useful for musicians performing outdoors or in challenging conditions.
Beyerdynamic has also designed the monitors with long-term reliability in mind. The detachable cable uses an MMCX connector system and is reinforced with Kevlar for extra strength. Gold-plated connectors and integrated memory wire help provide a secure connection and comfortable fit during performances. Replacement parts are also available, making the DT 30 IE a practical long-term investment.
Kevin Nietsch, Product Manager for PRO Audio at Beyerdynamic, said the company wanted to create a product that balances sound quality, isolation, and durability without major compromises. According to him, the DT 30 IE was developed specifically to bring that balance to musicians on stage.
The DT in-ear monitor series first debuted at NAMM 2025 and has received positive feedback from musicians around the world. Several professional performers, including DJs, producers, and drummers, have praised the series for its sound quality, comfort, and strong isolation during live performances.
