Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced set to launch with exciting upgrades on July 9

Ubisoft has shared new details about Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a refreshed version of the old fan-favourite game. The updated release is coming on July 9 for modern platforms.

This version is being worked on by Ubisoft Singapore, with help from some developers who worked on the original game. The main aim is to bring the story of Edward Kenway back with better visuals and smoother performance.

The game now runs on an improved Anvil engine. Because of this, everything looks cleaner and more realistic. Lighting has been improved, reflections look better, and water in the game feels more natural, especially during ship battles.

There are also changes in gameplay. Fighting has been improved to feel more smooth and responsive. Stealth is better, so players can move quietly and plan attacks more easily. Parkour movements are also more fluid now. Naval combat, which many players loved before, has been updated to feel more modern. Weather effects and world details also react more naturally than before.

On PlayStation 5, players will get different modes to choose from. There is a 60 FPS mode for smooth gameplay, a 30 FPS mode for better graphics, and a 40 FPS option for users with 120 Hz screens.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced requirements

For PC users, Ubisoft has confirmed system requirements. The game needs 16 GB RAM and 65 GB space on an SSD.

For basic gameplay at 1080p and 30 FPS, players will need a Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 with a GTX 1660 or RX 5500 XT.

For better performance at 1080p and 60 FPS, a Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 3600 with RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT is suggested.

For 1440p gaming at high settings, RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT will be needed.

For 4K gaming at ultra settings, powerful GPUs like RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX are required, along with strong CPUs like Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 7 5700X3D.

The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players can buy it from Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam. It will also support cloud gaming through GeForce Now.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launch

The standard version costs $59.99. There will also be Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. Players who pre-order the game will get Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack, which includes special outfits and weapons.

With these updates, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced looks like a strong return for both new players and fans of the original game.
