Xbox Games Showcase

Microsoft walked into Xbox Games Showcase 2026 with plenty to prove. By the end of the show, it had delivered one of its strongest line-ups in years.

There were expected names. There were long-awaited returns. And there were a few reveals that caught fans completely off guard.

Persona and Spyro steal the spotlight

The biggest crowd-pleaser was easily Persona 6. Atlus finally lifted the curtain on the next entry in the series. While details remain limited, one thing is already clear. The game is heading to Game Pass on day one.

Another surprise came from Spyro: A Realm Beyond. The purple dragon is back after years away, and the new adventure looks much larger in scope than previous entries.

Xbox leans into exclusives

Microsoft also made its platform plans clear.

Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution were both confirmed as Xbox console exclusives. In an era where platform boundaries have become less strict, that announcement stood out.

The showcase also gave fresh looks at Fable, State of Decay 3, Senua, and Halo: Campaign Evolved.

Several major release dates were locked in during the event. Minecraft Dungeons 2, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Valor Mortis, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy are all arriving within the next few months.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 appeared with a new look at its DMZ mode.

Xbox Games Showcase 2026 every game announced

If there was one takeaway from Xbox Games Showcase 2026, it is this: Xbox is entering 2027 with far more momentum than many expected.
