MotoGP 26 is now available, and it brings some clear upgrades to the official racing game. Developed by Milestone with support from MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group, the new release focuses on making riding feel more real while also adding more depth off the track.
The game includes the full 2026 season and aims to give a more natural experience. The biggest change is the updated physics system. Now, how you move your rider matters a lot more. Leaning, shifting weight, and body position directly affect how the bike handles. This makes braking, cornering, and balance feel more realistic than before. New animations also help make movement smoother in both easy and pro modes.
Another new feature is Dynamic Rider Ratings. These ratings change over time based on real-world results. Each rider is judged using four areas: time attack, race pace, head-to-head performance, and reliability. This gives a clearer idea of how each rider is performing during the season.
Career mode has also been improved. Players now move around a 3D paddock, which acts as the main hub during race weekends. You can talk to media, set goals, and build rivalries. These choices affect your reputation and future chances. A personal manager also helps with contracts and team deals. You can even take control of real riders and rebuild their careers from the start.
The Race Off mode has been expanded with a new UK track called Canterbury Park. It joins other locations and now includes Production Bikes. These events let players ride 1000cc road bikes from the same brand across different classes. Each bike type, like flat track and minibikes, still has its own unique feel.
Multiplayer has also been improved. Cross-play is supported, and races can now include up to 22 players. Split-screen mode is back for local play. Players can also design helmets and liveries and share them online. A special contest will reward the best helmet design, and the winning design will appear in a real MotoGP race.
