Thermaltake brings classic PC style back with new Retro cases

Thermaltake has introduced a fresh take on PC case design with its new Retro Series. The company is bringing back the look of old desktop computers but mixing it with today’s powerful hardware support. The lineup includes two models, the Retro 260 TG Micro Tower and the Retro 360 TG Mid-Tower.

The focus here is clear. These cases are made for users who want something different from the usual gaming style. Instead of sharp edges and flashy designs, the Retro Series uses soft beige colours and simple front panels that remind you of early home computers.

Both cases still keep things modern where it matters. You get tempered glass side panels, so you can see your build clearly, and there is full support for high-end parts. These are not just for looks. They are built for serious PC use.

The Retro 260 TG is the smaller option. It is made for microATX builds and fits well in tight spaces. Even with its compact size, it supports large graphics cards up to 370 mm and a 280 mm radiator. That means you can still build a strong system inside it. It also includes a VGA holder to keep your GPU stable. There is even support for an optional 6-inch LCD screen for system info or custom visuals.

The Retro 360 TG is the bigger model and gives you more room to work with. It supports full ATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 400 mm. This case is clearly aimed at users who want more freedom in their build. It also supports hidden-connector motherboards from brands like ASUS, MSI, and GIGABYTE, which helps keep cables out of sight for a cleaner look.

Cooling is a strong point here. The Retro 360 TG can support up to twelve 120 mm fans and multiple 360 mm radiators. It also comes with rotatable PCI-E slots, so you can mount your GPU vertically or horizontally depending on your setup.

Both cases support the optional LCD screen kit, which lets users display system stats or custom images using Thermaltake’s software. On top of that, removable dust filters are included to make cleaning easier.

The Thermaltake Retro Series shows that you do not need aggressive designs to build a powerful PC. With a clean and classic look, these cases offer a different style while still delivering strong performance and flexibility.
