YUNZII has introduced the Yunzii AL98 PRO, a new wireless mechanical keyboard aimed at users who want a premium build without giving up gaming and everyday features. The keyboard combines a compact 96% layout with a full number pad, aluminium construction, fast wireless connectivity, and a large battery.
Instead of going for a basic plastic design, YUNZII has given the AL98 PRO a full aluminium body. The keyboard is available in White, Black, and Pink, giving users a few different options depending on their desk setup.
A Compact Layout That Keeps the Number Pad
The AL98 PRO uses a 96% layout with 100 keys, so it keeps the number pad while taking up less space than a traditional full-size keyboard. There is also a multifunctional knob in the top section.
The knob is set up for media controls out of the box, but users can change its function through the keyboard’s customization options. This can be useful for controlling volume or assigning other shortcuts without reaching for the mouse.
Wireless, Bluetooth and Wired Connections

The Yunzii AL98 PRO comes with a hot-swappable PCB that supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. Users can therefore change the switches without soldering.
YUNZII is also shipping the keyboard with factory-lubed linear switches, so buyers can use it straight away without having to modify the keyboard first.
The keyboard uses a gasket-mounted design as well. This gives the keys some added movement while typing and is intended to create a softer feel compared with a rigid mounting system.
An 8000mAh Battery for Wireless Use
One of the more notable hardware features is the 8000mAh battery. That is a fairly large battery for a mechanical keyboard and should help the AL98 PRO handle long periods of wireless use between charges.
The keyboard also includes RGB lighting, customizable key assignments, macros, and profiles. YUNZII provides both a web-based driver and software driver for changing these settings.
PBT and PC Keycaps Included
The Yunzii AL98 PRO ships with Double-Shot PBT and PC Cherry Profile keycaps. The keyboard also includes extra accent keys, allowing users to change parts of the look without buying another keycap set.
A soft silicone wrist rest is included as well. It is designed to give the hands some support during longer gaming or typing sessions.
