Xbox kicked off its first Xbox Partner Preview under new head Asha Sharma with a packed showcase, and it delivered. From fresh reveals to long-awaited release dates, the late March event made a strong case for 2026 being a genuine landmark year for the platform.
Xbox Partner Preview March 2026 Recap
New Games Revealed
Several new titles made their debut during the showcase. Teyon, the studio behind RoboCop: Rogue City, announced Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish, a first-person action-RPG set in the World of Darkness universe. Rebellion also unveiled Alien Deathstorm, a sci-fi horror FPS pitting players against deadly weather and alien creatures in a besieged colony. Both are due in 2027.
Also revealed were Moosa: Dirty Fate, a gritty Korean action-adventure set in plague-ridden 17th-century Korea, and Serious Sam: Shatterverse, a co-op roguelite FPS for up to five players, the latter arriving later this year.

Updates on Upcoming Titles
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven received a new look, confirming five historical Japanese cities and eras spanning 1915 to 1965. A dedicated deep-dive broadcast is set for 6th May. Meanwhile, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2‘s first major story expansion, Cost of Hope, is heading to new regions, including the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, this Summer.

Game Pass Additions
Xbox Partner Preview brought several notable Game Pass announcements. Hades II arrives on Xbox and Game Pass on 14th April, while Wuthering Waves lands in July with exclusive Game Pass Ultimate perks. Grave Seasons, the darkly comic farming sim, is set for 14th August, and Bluey’s Happy Snaps rounds things out with a Fall 2026 window.

It’s a strong lineup, and with more broadcasts like the Stranger Than Heaven special still to come, Xbox’s 2026 slate is far from fully shown.
