Server trouble last week left many ARC Raiders players scratching their heads. Some successfully extracted from raids, only to find their gear gone anyway. Now, developer Embark Studios is stepping in to fix the damage, but the studio is making one thing very clear: this is not normal policy.
With the new 1.19.0 update, the team has started returning equipment that disappeared during those outages. Players who lost full loadouts due to the server failure should slowly see items appear back in their inventories over the next few days.

The decision comes after a large number of players reported the same problem. According to Embark Studios, the scale of the issue forced them to make an exception.

ARC Raiders lost loadouts fix explained
Normally, ARC Raiders does not offer any insurance system for gear. If you lose items during a raid, that loss is permanent. The developers confirmed this refund wave is only happening because the server issues affected so many people at once.
In other words, don’t expect this to happen again if something goes wrong in the future.

Alongside the compensation effort, update 1.19.0 also adds a few cosmetics, including a new outfit and two hairstyles. The patch further fixes several bugs, including one that stopped the Comet enemy from being looted and another exploit involving Snaphooks.
For now, players are getting their gear back. Next time, though, it may simply be gone for good.
