The PlayStation Store recently updated the game’s page, showing that a current-gen upgrade of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is on the way. There’s no official word from Warhorse Studios, but the listing is clear: the game is getting a boost.
The PS5 version will support 4K resolution, smoother framerate, and high-resolution textures. Bohemia is about to look sharper, from the villages to the open fields and combat scenes.
This lines up with a rumour from October 2025, which suggested a 2026 upgrade. Fans have been waiting, and it seems the wait is almost over.

Kingdom Come gets a modern makeover
The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance arrived in 2018 after a successful Kickstarter. It was praised for realistic combat, detailed environments, and a slow, careful storytelling style. It could be tough, but it rewarded players willing to explore.
Last year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II set a new standard. The sequel delivered cinematic moments, improved gameplay, and some of the best acting seen in a medieval game.
Upgrading the original makes sense now. New players get a polished experience, and returning fans can revisit Bohemia without the old technical limits.

The PS5 update looks like a standard enhancement rather than a full re-release. An Xbox version is likely but not confirmed.
For PS5 players, this is a good chance to step back into the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
