ARC Raiders has crossed another big line, and Embark Studios is marking the moment with a free in-game gift for players.
The extraction shooter has now passed 12 million copies sold, a milestone reached quietly but confidently as the game continues to dominate into 2026. To say thanks, the developers are handing out a Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool to eligible players.
The reward was confirmed via the official ARC Raiders X account, with Embark Studios noting that “over 12 million Raiders” have now left Speranza to raid the Rust Belt. Any player who logged in between launch and January 13 at 23:59 CET will receive the item once the next update rolls out.
This isn’t the first time the studio has done this. A similar gift was created when the game hit 10 million players, and this new reward follows that same thank-you tradition.
The numbers behind ARC Raiders are just as impressive. Recent estimates suggest over 12 million units sold across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox, bringing in around $350 million. Daily active users are also sitting at roughly 3.2 million.

Not everything is smooth, though. Some players are reporting false bans and account blocks, an issue Embark Studios will need to address quickly.
For now, the message is clear. ARC Raiders is still growing, and the devs want players to feel part of that success.
