The new Fairbuds XL feature upgraded 40 mm drivers that deliver richer sound and more detailed audio. Music now sounds fuller, with clear highs, natural mids, and stronger bass. The design is also improved for everyday comfort, with soft ear cushions and a breathable headband that feel good even after hours of use. The headphones now come in two fresh colours, Forest Green and Horizon Black, giving them a modern and confident look.

These headphones keep key features that made the first version loved. They support aptX HD for high-quality Bluetooth audio and dual device connection, so you can switch between your phone and laptop without hassle. Battery life reaches up to 30 hours, making them reliable for all-day use.

The biggest strength of the new Fairbuds XL is their repairable, modular design. Users can replace nine different parts, including the battery, ear cushions, and headband. Fairphone even offers a simple upgrade kit so existing owners can add the new drivers and cushions to their current headphones. This approach keeps your headphones alive and fresh for years.

Fairphone also focuses on sustainability. Over half of the headphones’ materials come from recycled or fairly sourced materials. The drivers use 100% recycled rare earth magnets, and the aluminium and plastic parts are responsibly sourced. Factories run on solar energy, and workers receive fair wages, showing that high-quality tech can also be ethical and eco-friendly.
