Phantom Blade Zero release date set for reveal at The Game Awards 2025

Phantom Blade Zero

The wait is almost over. Phantom Blade Zero will finally get its release date at The Game Awards 2025, set for December 11th.

The confirmation comes straight from the event itself. A short teaser shared on social media shows the game’s masked assassin calmly painting a Chinese dragon. Then chaos erupts. No gameplay. No date. Just a promise that the world premiere will deliver the answer fans have been waiting for.

First revealed back in 2023, Phantom Blade Zero follows an elite assassin hunting the killer of The Order’s patriarch. It blends fast, stylish Wuxia combat with Soulslike intensity and RPG depth. Its brutal, flowing combat has already made it one of the most talked-about action games in development.

Earlier this year, director Soulframe Liang confirmed the launch date would be revealed before the end of 2025. Many suspected The Game Awards. Now it’s official.

This year’s show is already packed. Resident Evil Requiem, Devil May Cry, and that strange mystery statue are all on the bill. Now Phantom Blade Zero joins the lineup with something very concrete on offer.

With 2026 shaping up to be crowded thanks to Grand Theft Auto 6 and 007 First Light, S-GAME’s brutal action title is one you’ll want to keep locked in. The countdown is on.
