Valve brings amazing new power with the Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and Steam Controller

Valve Steam Products 2026

Valve has just shocked the gaming world in the best way possible. After months of rumours and guesses, the company has finally lifted the curtain on three huge products the Steam Machine, the Steam Frame, and the Steam Controller. All three devices promise a massive jump in power, speed, and fun, and they are all set to arrive in early 2026.

The new Steam Machine is the star of the show. It marks the long-awaited return of Valve’s living room gaming PC, but this time it is far more powerful and much better designed. The tiny black box hides a custom AMD Zen 4 processor and RDNA 3 graphics, giving players the power to enjoy smooth 4K gaming at 60 FPS, complete with ray tracing and FSR support. Storage options go up to 2 TB, and you still get a microSD slot for extra space.

The hardware feels like a dream for home setups. You get 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM, and plenty of ports including HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, and Ethernet. The Steam Machine also ships with a new Steam Controller, plus Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and a fast 2.4 GHz radio for accessories. SteamOS runs everything smoothly, with quick suspend/resume and a bright LED bar that shows system status.

Then there’s the part everyone has been waiting for Valve’s first VR headset, the Steam Frame. This thing is incredibly light, weighing only 185 g by itself, yet packed with top-level hardware. It comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1 TB storage. You can stream Steam games over Wi-Fi 7, and the eye-tracking system sharpens the picture exactly where you look, making the whole experience feel more real.

The visuals are stunning thanks to twin 2160×2160 pancake lenses at 144 Hz. With four tracking cameras, an IR illuminator, built-in audio, and a solid 21.6Wh battery, the Steam Frame is built for long and comfortable play sessions. The new Steam Frame Controllers also add to the excitement, offering magnetic thumbsticks, capacitive finger tracking, and an amazing 40-hour battery life.

Finally, Valve also showed off the new Steam Controller, designed to work with every Steam device. It connects through a special wireless Puck, Bluetooth, or USB, giving you flexibility no matter where you play. With low-latency wireless, pressure-sensitive trackpads, gyro support, haptic motors, and TMR thumbsticks, this controller feels ready for both casual and pro gaming.

Valve Steam products launch

With all three Valve Steam products launching in early 2026, it’s clear that Valve is entering a bold new era of hardware. The future of Steam gaming looks more exciting than ever, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on these powerful new devices.
