Ayaneo Next 2 promises amazing power with Ryzen AI Max+ 395 handheld

Ayaneo is gearing up to launch its highly awaited Ayaneo Next 2 handheld, bringing impressive power and performance to Windows gaming on the go. This new handheld is set to be the true successor of the original Ayaneo Next and aims to compete with devices like ASUS ROG Ally X and MSI Claw 8 AI+.

The Ayaneo Next 2 will feature AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU. This is a 16-core, 32-thread processor built on the latest Zen 5 architecture, with 64 MB of L3 cache and boost clocks up to 5.1 GHz. For graphics, it has an integrated Radeon 8060S GPU with 40 compute units running at up to 2.9 GHz. This means the handheld can offer performance close to discrete graphics cards while staying compact.

Ayaneo has also redesigned the hardware for better usability. The Next 2 comes with a dual-fan cooling system and a high-capacity battery to keep performance smooth for longer gaming sessions. The controls are designed for flexibility, featuring a floating 8-way D-pad, Hall effect triggers, dual intelligent touchpads, customizable rear buttons, and dynamic Chroma lighting.
