Fire & Frost and tinyBuild have finally confirmed the release date for Of Ash and Steel, their old-school open world fantasy RPG. It’s set to launch on 6 November for PC via Steam and GOG.

Fans don’t have to wait that long, though, a new Steam demo is out now. It covers the start of Tristan’s journey, letting players freely explore the opening region for several hours. You can follow the main story, dive into side quests, and experiment with skill trees and professions. There’s even a lumberjack camp to help out at before teaming up with Fox to investigate an abandoned village and make your way to the harbour.

The demo also includes Arena Master Mode, a separate challenge for players looking to test their combat skills. Expect fast-paced arena fights where Tristan can earn experience, gold, and fame. You’ll need to upgrade weapons, master new techniques, and prove yourself as the toughest gladiator in Grayshaft.

Earlier this year, the first demo Of Ash and Steel left a rough impression, but the core ideas showed promise. With this new version, fans are eager to see whether Fire & Frost have sharpened their steel and delivered a true fantasy adventure worth remembering.
