Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to release on November 14, 2025, bringing a fresh mix of story, co-op action, and classic multiplayer battles. The game will arrive on Xbox,PlayStation, PC via Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox on PC, with day-one access for Game Pass players.
The story of Black Ops 7 takes place in 2035, years after the events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6. Raul Menendez returns as a dangerous threat, and the world once again stands on the edge of chaos. Players will join David “Section” Mason, who leads an elite team on a mission to Avalon, a city on the Mediterranean coast. Here, past choices collide with present dangers, making the story more personal and intense.

A major highlight is the new Co-op Campaign, which can be played solo or with up to four players. Every kill, mission, and challenge adds to a shared global progression system that carries across the whole game. For the first time, your campaign progress also helps unlock rewards in Multiplayer and Zombies.
Black Ops 7 brings co-op campaign, Endgame, and the biggest Zombies yet
The campaign will build toward an all-new mode called Endgame, a massive 32-player experience set in Avalon. Players will face large-scale missions, customise their loadouts, and test their skills together in the toughest challenges the series has seen.

Multiplayer is also getting a big update with 16 brand-new 6v6 maps and two large 20v20 maps at launch. Classic maps from Black Ops 2 will return as reimagined versions set in near-future Japan. A fresh large-scale mode named Skirmish will also debut, letting players wingsuit across wide battlegrounds for high-speed combat.

The updated Omnimovement system adds new moves like wall jumps and combat rolls, designed to give players more control and strategy in fights. A new upgrade system called Overclocks also allows players to power up their equipment and scorestreaks in unique ways, giving more variety to each match.
Fans of Zombies can expect the biggest round-based map ever alongside Survival maps and Dead Ops Arcade 4. The new story dives deep into the Dark Aether, where familiar characters meet alternate versions of the original crew, leading to wild twists and surprises.
With its exciting mix of new modes, global progression, and the return of fan favourites, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be one of the most action-packed entries in the series when it launches this November.
