SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have shared a new trailer for their upcoming Virtua Fighter project. The video gives a first look at the game’s combat inside a simple training stage.

No title. No platforms. No release date. This is early footage, showing work-in-progress gameplay. It’s just basic fighting mechanics, with no fancy visuals.

SEGA will reveal more at Tokyo Game Show 2025. The event runs from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. Expect proper details there.

Right now, the game is far from done. The trailer shows characters moving and attacking in a plain arena. It’s clear the project is still in early development.

If you were hoping for a release soon, it’s not happening. This looks like a 2027 game, at best.
