Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition gets gameplay reveal, pay again to play again on VR

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition drops on 30 September 2025, but if you already bought the VR version, you’ll have to buy it again to play the flat-screen release.

“Currently, those who own Alien: Rogue Incursion will have to repurchase the Evolved Edition.” No upgrade option. No discount. Just a separate purchase.

First Alien gameplay shown at Comic-Con

Revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, the new trailer shows a standard horror FPS setup, tight corridors, Xenomorphs, and gunplay. It’s the same game, minus the VR.

Pre-orders are live now. The Evolved Edition costs $29.99 (around £23.50). The Digital Deluxe Edition is $39.99 (about £31.30). This isn’t a patch or update, it’s a full standalone version.

The original Alien: Rogue Incursion launched in 2024 on PS VR2, PC VR, and later on Meta Quest 3. The Evolved Edition reworks it for flat-screen play.

No word yet on whether Survios will offer a cheaper upgrade or bundle later. If that changes, we’ll report it.
