NBA 2K26 is coming on September 5. It’s releasing on PS4|5, Xbox, Switch 2, Switch, and PC (Steam). 2K and Visual Concepts are behind it.
There are four cover stars this year. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is on the Standard Edition. He’s a three-time All-Star and 2024-25 MVP. Angel Reese is on the WNBA Edition. She’s a WNBA All-Star and NCAA Champion.
This NBA 2K26 version is a GameStop exclusive in the U.S. Carmelo Anthony stars on the Superstar Edition. He’s a Hall of Fame inductee and NBA legend. All three appear together on the Leave No Doubt Edition.

- Leave No Doubt Edition – $149.99 / £149.99, adds 35K VC, Pro Passes, bonus cards, MyCAREER gear, and a discount for NBA 2K25 players
Superstar and Leave No Doubt Editions offer early access one week before launch.
On Gen 9 consoles, ProPLAY brings smoother dribbling and better movement. MyCAREER features a new story. The City has been improved for faster multiplayer.
MyTEAM adds new solo and online modes. MyNBA has 30 team storylines for players who want to be GM.
