Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree has a new trailer. It introduces two Guardians—Nishiki and Rekka. Both will fight beside Towa to protect Shinju Village.
The game is developed by Brownies and published by Bandai Namco. It’s a roguelite action game. The release date is set for 19 September on PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC via Steam.
Towa fights with Guardians in duo-based battles
In the trailer, we see Nishiki and Rekka in action. They have different skills and weapons. You fight as a pair, Towa and one Guardian. Each Guardian brings a unique combat style. This makes every battle feel different.

The game isn’t just about combat. You also grow bonds with the villagers. Over time, the village changes. You can visit the dojo, craft swords, and call on powerful spirits called Graces.
The world looks colourful but dangerous. Music by Hitoshi Sakimoto adds a strong emotional feel. The setting is magical but full of threats.
If you like action, roguelites, and character-driven stories, this game could be for you. Nishiki and Rekka are just the start. There are more Guardians to meet.
