FSP has announced the launch of its new MEGA GM Series of fully modular power supplies, designed for users building modern and high-performance PCs. The new lineup includes three models with 850 W, 1000 W, and 1200 W power output, making it suitable for gaming systems, creator setups, and advanced workstations.
The MEGA GM Series follows the latest Intel ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. This means the power supplies are built to work smoothly with new PC hardware and future upgrades, without the need for adapters or extra changes.
Efficiency plays an important role in this series. All models are rated 80 Plus Gold and also carry Cybenetics Gold and A++ certifications. In daily use, this helps the power supply waste less electricity, produce less heat, and keep overall system noise low. Better efficiency also supports longer component life and steady performance during long gaming or work sessions.
For graphics card support, FSP has equipped the MEGA GM Series with a native PCIe 12V-2Ă—6 connector. This allows direct support for the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series and AMD Radeon graphics cards. The power supplies are also designed to handle sudden power spikes, which helps maintain system stability during demanding tasks such as gaming, streaming, or video rendering.
Voltage stability is handled through FSP’s own MTLC, or Micro Tolerance Load Control, design. This technology keeps voltage levels very close to their target values. Stable power delivery helps protect key PC parts like the CPU and GPU and ensures smoother performance under load.
Noise control is another strong point of the MEGA GM Series. Each unit uses a 135 mm fan with fluid dynamic bearing technology. An Eco mode allows the fan to stay completely off during low power use. When cooling is needed, the fan starts slowly and stays very quiet. The series has earned a Cybenetics Lambda A++ rating, showing its focus on silent operation.
Even with high wattage, the power supplies are compact in size. Their short length makes installation easier, especially in PC cases where space is limited.
The fully modular cable design helps users keep their builds clean and organised. Only the required cables need to be connected, improving airflow inside the case. For safety, the series includes full protection features such as over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection.
