AGON by AOC has rolled out two new gaming monitors, each made for a different type of player. The clear headliner is the AOC U27G4XM, a MiniLED 4K monitor that aims to bring premium visuals to gamers who want great quality without paying luxury prices. Along with it comes the AOC 25G4KUR, a compact esports screen built purely for speed with an impressive 420 Hz refresh rate.

The AOC U27G4XM stands out because of its MiniLED panel. With 1152 local dimming zones, HDR1000, and 1200-nit brightness, the screen brings out bright highlights, deep shadows, and strong detail across every scene. Games instantly feel more alive, whether you’re exploring colourful open worlds or battling in dark areas. And since MiniLED avoids burn-in issues, the AOC U27G4XM stays reliable even after long gaming sessions.
A standout feature is Dual Frame Mode. With a quick switch, the monitor can run 4K at 160 Hz for rich single-player experiences or 1080p at 320 Hz for competitive action. It’s built to match your mood—slow and story-driven, or fast and competitive. Strong colour coverage, with 151% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3, makes the AOC U27G4XM a solid pick for creators too.
Console users aren’t left out. The AOC U27G4XM supports 4K 120 Hz on both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 through HDMI 2.1, giving smoother movement and clearer detail. Its modern, frameless design also makes it a clean fit for dual-platform setups.
Beside it, the AOC 25G4KUR is made for one thing speed. This 24.5-inch Fast IPS monitor is tuned for esports, offering 400 Hz native, boosted to 420 Hz for extremely quick motion. With 1 ms GtG, 0.3 ms MPRT, and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support, the display helps players react faster and stay locked-in during intense matches.

Both monitors pack AOC’s gaming extras, including Low Input Lag, custom crosshair overlays, and the easy G-Menu software. The AOC U27G4XM also includes PiP and PbP, making it more useful for streamers or multitaskers who need to manage multiple screens at once.
In simple terms, the AOC U27G4XM is built for players who want strong visuals, smooth performance, and versatility in one display. The AOC 25G4KUR, on the other hand, is perfect for players who only care about raw speed and competitive advantage.
The AOC U27G4XM launches in January 2026 for £399.99, while the AOC 25G4KUR arrives earlier in late November 2025 at £209.99.
