New Italian studio Sedleo is stepping onto the scene with their first game, 1348 Ex Voto, a cinematic action-adventure coming to PS5, Xbox, and PC in early 2026. The game throws players into the chaos of 14th century Italy, where plague, bandits, and political unrest make survival a daily struggle.

You play as Aeta, voiced by Alby Baldwin, a young noble trained to be a knight. When bandits raid her village and Bianca (Jennifer English) disappears, Aeta sets off on a relentless journey across a dangerous peninsula to save her closest one. Every step is a fight for survival in a world teetering on the edge of collapse.

Sedleo, founded by Tom Oceano and Fabiola Martelli, brought together a team of international AAA veterans to craft a story that’s both personal and historically grounded. The developers explored rural Italy firsthand to recreate the landscapes, villages, and castles with authenticity.

Combat is inspired by Historical European Martial Arts. Players can switch between one-handed and two-handed stances, unlock combos from skill books, and customise weapons to suit their style. Performance capture ensures that every sword strike and parry feels impactful and cinematic.

From plague-ridden towns to rolling hills and Roman ruins, 1348 Ex Voto promises a dark, immersive look at Italy’s medieval chaos, putting players in the boots of a knight whose life and love hangs in the balance.
