Tokyo Game Show 2025 breaks record with over 770 exhibitors and new visual reveal

The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association has announced the full list of exhibitors and the official visual for Tokyo Game Show 2025. The event will take place from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba.

As of July 8, there are 772 exhibitors. That includes 473 from Japan and 299 from overseas. They’ll fill a total of 4,083 booths. That breaks last year’s record of 3,252. Exhibitors from 46 countries and regions will take part. This is the biggest Tokyo Game Show ever.

New visual for Tokyo Game Show 2025 by Zashiki Warashi

This year’s main visual is by Zashiki Warashi. The theme is “Unlimited, Neverending Playgrounds.” It’s full of colour and playful detail.

“This visual includes many elements of the games I love,” said Warashi. “I made it with gratitude and care. Even my mother was excited to see it.”

The teaser already drew positive reactions. The final art builds on that excitement.

Sony, SEGA, Square Enix, and more

Tokyo Game Show 2025 includes many major publishers. Sony Interactive Entertainment, SEGA, Koei Tecmo, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, and Capcom are all confirmed.

They’ll be joined by popular mid-size teams and a wave of indie studios. There are also areas for hardware, AR/VR, mobile games, esports, education, and family games.

Indie games get a major spotlight

The Indie Game Area is full of creators from around the world. The Selected Indie 80 section highlights promising new titles. Studios from Brazil, India, Spain, and Korea are part of the line-up.

There’s also strong support for students and new devs. The Game Academy Area includes universities and schools across Japan and abroad.

Gaming gear and tech zones

Want hardware? Brands like Corsair, Elgato, Keychron, and EPOMAKER are in the Gaming Hardware Area. The AR/VR Area shows future tech. The AI Pavilion will feature companies like Preferred Networks and Ubitus.

Tokyo Game Show 2025 is more than an expo. It’s a global celebration of games, tech, and ideas. Whether you’re into AAA, indie, esports, or gear, there’s something for everyone.
