Its clear case and keycaps are made from high-transparency PC material, giving the keyboard a clean and modern feel. The 3D-printed shine-through legends won’t fade and allow the south-facing RGB lighting to shine brightly. With 16.8 million colour options, the lighting effects look vibrant and sharp.

The YUNZII X98 keyboard supports full QMK and VIA, letting users remap keys, set up macros, adjust layers, and control lighting with ease. A built-in rotary knob—set to control volume by default—adds quick access to media or custom functions.

It supports tri-mode connectivity: Bluetooth 5.3, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired. The X98 can pair with up to five devices, so switching between your laptop, desktop, phone, or tablet is smooth and fast.

Typing is soft and quiet thanks to the gasket mount structure and five layers of sound-absorbing materials like Poron, IXPE, and silicone. This helps reduce noise and adds bounce to each keypress.
