WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers just got its first major update on PC. It’s about 900MB in size, but don’t let that fool you this isn’t the performance-saving patch you were probably hoping for.
Here’s what’s actually in Wuchang Patch 1.3:
– Everyone who owns the game now gets the official soundtrack.
– A bug has been fixed where some players were getting preorder or deluxe items without paying for them.
That’s it. No real performance gains. No magic FPS boost.
And if you think the game is running better after the patch, check your graphics settings. The update reset them for some reason. That might be why it feels smoother, it’s not the patch, it’s your settings.

Also, Frame Generation? Still busted.
Turning it on just adds more stutter, not less. And yes, those annoying hitches while exploring? Still there. This patch doesn’t touch any of it.
What makes things worse is that Leenzee doesn’t seem too concerned. The devs have already said they’re “happy” with the game’s performance. So if you’re waiting for a miracle patch… maybe don’t.
Steam will auto-download the update next time you launch it. There’s no detailed changelog yet. If they post one, we’ll update the story.

But for now, WUCHANG still stutters and players are still stuck waiting.
