Wuchang: Fallen Feathers just came out and it’s already in trouble. Players are blasting the game for major performance issues, broken pre-order rewards, and bizarre pricing.
Out of over 8,000 reviews on Steam, only 21% are positive. Most of them? Complaints about crashes, stuttering, and the game barely running.
Now the devs at Leenzee Games have stepped in. In a statement, they admitted the game’s “optimisation didn’t meet expectations” and apologised for the mess. “These problems should never have occurred,” they said.

They’re working on a fix. A patch is coming “as soon as we can,” and it’ll target three key problems:
– Performance issues on a wide range of PCs
– Missing pre-order rewards
– Abnormal pricing in some regions
Leenzee says if you’re using a PC that meets the recommended specs, the game should run fine but they know that’s not happening for a lot of players.
Free stuff as an apology for Wuchang’s rough launch
To say sorry, everyone who bought the game on Steam is getting a free copy of the soundtrack. And if you bought the deluxe edition, you’ll also get a new costume in a future update.
That’s a nice gesture but players clearly want one thing: for the game to work. With overwhelmingly negative reviews piling up, Leenzee Games has its work cut out.

If the patch doesn’t land soon and fix the core issues, Wuchang could fall even faster than it launched.
