You play as a young sword master trying to uncover the truth about your past. The game is set during China’s chaotic Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, packed with political intrigue, epic battles, and rich storytelling. Players can explore bustling capitals, hidden corners of the wild, and every secret-filled corner in between.

Traversal looks impressive. You can scale rooftops with fluid parkour, ride the windstride to cross huge distances in moments, or use fast travel points to move between regions. Combat is smooth and deep, based on classic wuxia fighting styles. You’ll have swords, spears, dual blades, glaives, fans, umbrellas, and even bows at your disposal, along with mystical techniques like Taichi to craft your own fighting rhythm.

Where Winds Meet promises over 150 hours of content, including both solo play and seamless co-op for up to four players. You can customise your character, progress your abilities, and explore more than 20 distinct regions. With its mix of action, adventure, and martial arts, this looks set to be a must-play.
