The Warframe The Shadowgrapher update is doing more than adding fresh content. It is marking a major platform jump, too.
Digital Extremes has confirmed that the update goes live on 25 March 2026. On the same day, Warframe officially launches on the Nintendo Switch 2. One patch. One new console. No quiet rollout.
The reveal came during the studio’s 193rd DevStream, where the team showed off Follie, the 64th playable Warframe. She is built around pressure and fear, and she plays very differently from the usual power fantasy the game leans on.
Warframe The Shadowgrapher update adds Follie’s Hunt
The big talking point in the Warframe The Shadowgrapher update is Follie’s Hunt. It is a four-versus-one survival mode. One player controls Follie. Four others try to stay alive.
The longer the match runs, the worse it gets for the survivors. Follie grows stronger. Escapes get harder. It feels like a clear nod to Dead by Daylight, but with Warframe’s speed and movement.

There are also clan upgrades and visual improvements to an early quest. According to Digital Extremes, feedback from The Old Peace update helped shape these changes.
March 25 is not just another patch day. For Warframe, it is a statement.
