Tides of Annihilation has just landed a new four-minute gameplay trailer, and it’s the best look yet at what Eclipse Glow Games is building. The footage comes from a pre-release PC version, so things may change, but it already gives a strong sense of the game’s speed, tone, and scale.
Tides of Annihilation gameplay reveal
You see the core combat right away. The spectral knight dual-fighting system pushes you to chain fast attacks, mix styles, and build brutal combos. Everything moves quickly. Every strike feels like it wants to lead into another. It’s clear the studio is aiming for high-energy action rather than slow, heavy swings.
The setting leans into a strange blend of modern and medieval. London is still London, but it has been twisted by an apocalyptic Outworld invasion. Familiar landmarks appear warped, broken, and reshaped into something darker. It gives the city a tense atmosphere, like it’s caught between two worlds at once.
Halfway through, the trailer shifts to the Colossal Knights. These massive enemies tower over the streets and act as full-scale climbing battles. You move up, around, and across their bodies while dodging huge strikes. More than 30 unique bosses are planned, some inspired by the Knights of the Round Table, which hints at a wide range of designs.

Tides of Annihilation’s story follows Gwendolyn as she hunts for answers about her past, pushing through revenge, loss, and redemption along the way.
NVIDIA confirmed that the trailer runs on PC with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Gen. There’s still no release date, but more updates are expected soon.
