Side-scrolling roguelite action game The Rogue Prince of Persia will officially launch out of Early Access this August on PC via Steam, Ubisoft, and Evil Empire have confirmed.
Initially released on 27 May 2024, the game has seen rapid evolution during its Early Access phase, shaped significantly by community feedback.
What to expect in The Rogue Prince of Persia 1.0
The version 1.0 release brings the complete experience, including two major new biomes, one joining the Temple and Tower of Oblivion tier, and a final area housing the fearsome final boss: King Nogai. This update also adds the long-awaited “third act” of the story, where players will finally encounter the Prince’s father, the King of Persia, and uncover the true ending.

Alongside the story finale, players can expect new enemies, weapons, and expanded gameplay features in typical Evil Empire fashion.

More details, including an exact release date and potential console news, will be revealed soon. A new update is also expected later this month.
