SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have finally lifted the curtain on Project Century. It now has a proper name, Stranger Than Heaven. Alongside this reveal, they’ve dropped a new teaser trailer, offering a glimpse at the tone and style the game’s aiming for.
Stranger Than Heaven sets a darker, dramatic tone
The trailer doesn’t say much, but that’s kind of the point. It leans into the atmosphere, showing us a world that feels dramatic and mysterious. There’s a familiar energy here, too—fans of Yakuza or Like a Dragon will probably notice the cinematic shots and emotionally charged moments straight away. RGG Studio is sticking to what they do best: strong storytelling, intense character moments, and just enough intrigue to get us talking.

Right now, there’s still no word on which platforms the game will be released on. We also don’t have a release date. But this early peek does a good job of setting expectations. It feels fresh, yet still in line with what long-time fans love.

You can watch the new teaser below, and there’s also the first teaser now updated with the official title. Both are short but worth watching if you want to get a feel for where Stranger Than Heaven is headed.
