Shift Up has officially confirmed that a sequel to Stellar Blade is now in active development. The news surfaced through the studio’s latest financial report, following months of speculation about the future of the series.
The sequel is set to build on the fast-paced combat of the original, with the developer promising an expanded universe and improved gameplay systems. Alongside the new game, Shift Up also revealed plans to grow the Stellar Blade franchise further through additional projects.

The announcement comes as little surprise given the overwhelming success of the first entry. Released last year on PlayStation 5 before arriving on PC, the game quickly became a breakout hit. On Steam, it sold over one million copies within just three days, setting a record as the fastest-selling Korean game on the platform.
While details on the sequel remain limited, the confirmation ensures fans can look forward to more of the series’ signature action. There is also hope that future instalments will reach additional platforms, allowing even more players to experience the game.
Stellar Blade is currently available on PC and PlayStation 5.
