Tactical Adventures has confirmed that Solasta II will arrive on PC via Steam in early 2026, with an early access launch now set for the first quarter of the year. The news dropped during the Galaxies Gaming Showcase, where the studio explained that the team needed a little extra time to polish things up before release.
Solasta II – Welcome To Neokos official trailer
Unlike its predecessor, Solasta: Crown of the Magister, which was built in Unity, this sequel is running on Unreal Engine 5, and the difference shows. The game looks sharper, richer, and far more dynamic, though the trade-off might be fewer modding options. Fans of the first game’s level editor, which spawned loads of fan-made adventures, might need to temper their expectations this time.
Players can already jump into a two-hour demo on Steam to see what’s new. Solasta II once again leans on the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 ruleset, setting players on a story-driven quest across Neokos, a new continent touched by ancient corruption.

The mysterious Shadwyn, voiced by Amelia Tyler (the familiar narrator from Baldur’s Gate 3), plays a key role in shaping this darker narrative.
The studio will host a community stream on October 28 at 10 AM PT (6 PM CET) via YouTube and Twitch, where fans can get a first look at the new overworld map and hear more about what’s next for Solasta II.
