Konami has confirmed that a remake of the original Silent Hill is officially in the works.
The announcement was made during the latest Konami Press Start broadcast, where it was revealed that Bloober Team—the studio already working on the Silent Hill 2 remake is also handling this new project.
Silent Hill returns through a new collaboration
This follows news from February, when Konami and Bloober Team announced a partnership to create a new title based on one of Konami’s IPs. That title has now been confirmed to be a full remake of the first game.
No further details were shared—there’s no word yet on a release window, supported platforms, or gameplay footage.

Still, the confirmation alone is significant, especially for fans eager to see how the eerie world will be reimagined with current-gen technology.
