Assassin’s Creed Shadows gets new game plus next week, Claws of Awaji DLC drops in September

Ubisoft has revealed what’s next for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. A big update arrives next week. The first DLC hits in September. And several fan-requested features are on the way.

New game plus lands July 29. It unlocks after you finish the story and see the credits. You’ll keep your gear, level, skills, and hideout upgrades. Map discovery, objectives, and story progress reset. The update also raises the level cap from 60 to 80. Expect new Animus collectibles and the launch of Project 3.

August update brings fan-requested changes

August will bring more fixes and improvements. You’ll be able to unfog the entire map by syncing all viewpoints. On PC, cutscene framerates will be uncapped. No more jarring switches during cinematics.

Ubisoft will also hold a Reddit AMA on August 12. Players can ask questions and give feedback directly to the devs.

AC Shadows: Claws of Awaji DLC launches September 16

The Claws of Awaji DLC arrives on September 16. It adds new story content, gear rarities, and equipment. You’ll also be able to change the time of day at will.
