Ubisoft has given a short update on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. No trailer. No gameplay. Just a message. But the project is still alive.
The update came from the official Prince of Persia X account. Ubisoft said, “Yep, we’re still deep in the game.” They also added, “The team truly cares and is putting heart (and coffee) into every step.”
Sands of Time remake still shifting
Ubisoft also shared new artwork. It shows a building from the original Sands of Time. Long-time fans may recognise it.

There were no updates at Summer Game Fest. Ubisoft is also skipping its Forward event this year. So don’t expect new footage anytime soon.
The remake was first revealed in 2020. Fans weren’t happy with it. Ubisoft restarted development. Ubisoft Montreal is now leading the project.
Progress has been slow. But it’s not cancelled. The remake is still planned to launch by March 2026. That info came from Ubisoft’s recent earnings report.
Ubisoft also reminded fans about The Rogue Prince of Persia. It’s a 2D spin-off. It’s out now. If you want some Prince of Persia action, that’s the one to try.

The wait continues. But it seems the team wants to do it right.
