Samsung has quietly listed its brand-new Odyssey G7 G75F gaming monitor on the official Malaysia website. This monitor is the first of its kind in the 37-inch size and is designed for gamers who want a big, clear, and smooth screen. With strong features and a good design, it stands out from other monitors on the market.
The Odyssey G7 G75F comes with a 37-inch curved screen. It uses a Rapid VA panel and has a tight 1000R curve. This means the curve is very sharp, bringing the edges of the screen closer to your eyes for a more immersive experience. Samsung says this gives you about 34% more screen space than a 32-inch monitor, which is great for multitasking and open-world games.

It also has a 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and a high refresh rate of 165Hz. This makes games look smooth and sharp. The screen brightness goes up to 350 nits in normal use and can reach 600 nits with HDR content, thanks to its VESA DisplayHDR 600 support.
The monitor also has a fast 1ms response time and a strong 3,000:1 contrast ratio. Colours look great too, with 90% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB colour coverage. Viewing angles are wide, at 178 degrees both vertically and horizontally. For gamers, it also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to reduce screen tearing.
Samsung has added more useful features like Flicker-Free and Eye Saver Mode, which help reduce eye strain. It also includes Black Equalizer to help spot enemies in dark areas, a crosshair overlay for aiming, and Auto Source Switch+. This last feature is handy because it can switch input sources automatically when a new device, like a game console, is turned on.
On the back, the monitor includes 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 1 DisplayPort 1.4. There are also 2 USB 3.2 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The stand allows users to adjust the height, tilt, and swivel. However, it doesn’t seem to support KVM, which could have helped control two PCs with one mouse and keyboard.
