Robots at Midnight is making its way to PlayStation 5 on 28 August, publisher Snail and developer Finish Line Games have announced. The vibrant action RPG first launched on Xbox and PC back on 19 June.

Set on the ruined planet Yob, the game follows Zoe, who wakes after 20 years in cryo-sleep to a world she barely recognises. Her mission is simple, find her missing father. The journey is not so much. Players will battle gangs of corrupted robots, face towering bosses, and dig up the truth behind the cataclysm known as The Blackout.

Co-founder Daniel Posner says the team wanted a Soulslike-style challenge but without the “doom and gloom”, instead building a colourful world packed with high-energy combat.
Armed with the MITT, a piece of old-world tech repurposed for survival, Zoe can launch off enemies, soar through the air, and smash through bots with fluid, momentum-based movement.
Robots at Midnight offers two modes: Hero Mode for a more story-driven experience, and Master Mode for high-stakes combat. Whichever you choose, be ready to move fast and be home before midnight.
