Herobeat Studios, the team behind Endling: Extinction is Forever, has announced its next project, Rewilders: The Lost Spring. The game is an open-world roguelite action adventure with creature collection and Metroidvania-inspired progression.
It is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox, Switch, and PC via Steam, though no release date has been shared yet.

In Rewilders, you will step into the role of Abi, a lone survivor exploring a poisoned world in search of her missing family. The game’s world is built around corrupted biomes, hostile enemies, and dynamic runs that change each time you play. Traversal is key, with tools like a glider, grappling hook, and wall-running allowing players to reach new areas and uncover hidden zones.
A core feature is restoring life to the land. As players rewild zones and reactivate Springs, the Hantu, once extinct creatures – return. These companions can fight alongside Abi, offering active abilities and bonuses. They can also be leveled up and customised to suit different playstyles.
The game also includes a skyship base where resources can be grown to unlock permanent buffs and prepare for the next run. Players will face a choice throughout their journey: restore the world’s lost memory or reshape it through hatred.
