Razer has launched its new Viper V4 Pro gaming mouse along with the Gigantus V2 Pro mouse mat, aiming to give players better control and faster response in competitive games. Instead of focusing on just one device, the company is clearly trying to improve the full gaming setup experience.
The Viper V4 Pro feels like a refined upgrade rather than a complete change. It keeps the familiar lightweight design of the Viper series but pushes performance further. With a weight of around 49 grams, the mouse is built for quick movements, especially for players who use claw or fingertip grip.

One of the main highlights is the 8000 Hz polling rate, which reduces delay and makes movements feel more direct on screen. This can make a real difference in fast-paced games where every millisecond matters. The new sensor also goes up to 50,000 DPI, giving players more precise control, whether they prefer slow tracking or fast flick shots.
Razer has also focused on making the Viper V4 mouse smarter. Users can adjust sensitivity, tracking behaviour, and lift-off distance based on their play style. These small changes help the mouse feel more personal instead of one-size-fits-all.
Battery life of Viper V4 has been improved as well, offering up to 180 hours on lower settings. This means less charging and more consistent use. At the same time, durability is not ignored. The optical switches are built for up to 100 million clicks, and they are designed to avoid common issues like double-clicking over time.
Alongside the mouse, the Gigantus V2 Pro mat adds another layer to the setup. Instead of a single surface, Razer is offering five different options, including Max Control, Control, Balance, Speed, and Max Speed. This allows players to pick exactly how they want their mouse to feel during gameplay.

Each version of the mat changes both the surface texture and the foam base underneath. This affects not just speed but also comfort and stopping power. Players who like precise control can go for higher friction, while those who prefer fast movement can choose smoother surfaces.
Razer says both products were tested with professional players, and that shows in the overall design. The focus is not just on specs, but on how everything works together in real matches.
With the Viper V4 Pro and Gigantus V2 Pro, Razer is moving towards a more complete performance setup. Instead of upgrading one part, players now get a combination that is designed to work together for better speed, control, and consistency.
