PlayStation Plus drops five free games for December 2025 as Sony ends the year with a surprise boost

Sony is closing out 2025 with a PlayStation Plus lineup that’s bigger than usual, and yes, it’s actually five games this time. The new selection goes live on Tuesday, 2 December and sticks around until Monday, 5 January. Every tier gets access, so whether you’re on Essential, Extra or Premium, you’re covered.

You’ve still got until 1 December to grab November’s titles before they rotate out. After that, the December set takes over. Sony says it wanted to make the final drop of the year “a special one”, and offering more than the standard three games definitely fits the brief.

There is a small catch, though. Not every region gets all five titles. Some are limited to select territories, so you’ll need to check the PlayStation Store on 2 December to see which ones are available where you live.

Here’s the full list of what Sony is offering this month:

  • LEGO Horizon Adventures | PS5
  • Killing Floor 3 | PS5
  • The Outlast Trials | PS4, PS5
  • Synduality Echo of Ada | PS5
  • Neon White | PS4, PS5

It’s a surprisingly strong mix. A big family-friendly adventure. A co-op shooter with a loyal following. A horror game built for survival fans. A futuristic mech experience. And a stylish speed-running puzzler. It’s the kind of variety drop that tries to hit every type of player at least once.

Five games in December is not something PlayStation Plus does often, so it’s a welcome end-of-year boost. The only real question now is which one people will be diving into first.
