Pathologic 3 gets January 2026 release date, Steam demo live now

Pathologic 3 - KEY ART

Pathologic 3 is finally coming. Ice-Pick Lodge and HyperTrain Digital have confirmed that the long-awaited sequel will launch on PC on 9 January 2026. And if you’re too curious to wait that long, there’s a free demo out right now as part of October’s Steam Next Fest, running until 20 October.

The studio isn’t messing around this time. In a post on the game’s Steam page, Ice-Pick Lodge made it clear that the date isn’t shifting. “That date is nailed down, screwed in, wrapped in commitments, and it isn’t moving,” they wrote, which sounds about right for a studio known for its grim certainty.

Alongside the demo, a brand-new trailer gives us another look at Pathologic 3’s haunting world. It teases the return of Daniil Dankovsky, who once again finds himself in the eerie City-on-Gorkhon, chasing after an immortal man.

Originally announced back in 2024 with a 2025 release window, the game’s just missed it by nine days. But given how strange and unsettling Pathologic tends to be, waiting a little longer almost feels fitting.

You can try the demo now, and while you’re there, don’t miss other Steam Next Fest highlights like Of Ash and Steel and Beneath.
