Once Human is coming to consoles. Starry Studio has announced that the game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox in 2026. You can wishlist it now on the PlayStation and Microsoft stores.

The game first came out on PC via Steam on July 9, 2024. It later launched on iOS and Android on April 23, 2025. A big new update called Dreamveil (version 2.0) is now live on all platforms.

Once Human is a free-to-play multiplayer survival game. It\’s set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with mutated life and ruined landscapes. You play as a Meta-Human, someone who can survive Stardust, a strange alien substance that changed the world.

Once Human offers massive exploration and strange allies

Explore a huge open world. It spans 256 km² with mountains, rivers, deserts, swamps, and more. You’ll gather resources, build a base, and fight off strange monsters called Deviants.

You don’t have to go alone. Team up with other players, share loot, and battle strong enemies. Use teamwork and strategy to survive.

Base building is a major part of the game. You can build anywhere. Add rooms, defences, and traps. Protect your supplies and design your dream survival spot.

One standout feature is your Deviation Pals. These are cute and strange creatures that help you out. There’s a gun-wielding alpaca, a dragon chef, and even a mining buddy. They can fight, gather items, and keep your base running. Just make sure they’re happy—or they might turn on you.

The Dreamveil update adds even more to explore and play with. And with the console version coming in 2026, now’s a good time to jump in.
