The Switch emulation scene just hit another tense moment. Several emulator teams say they have received legal notices recently. Among them are Eden, Citron, Kenji-NX, and MeloNx.
Nothing has vanished yet, but the warning signs are clear. And if you follow this space, you already know how quickly things can change.
This is not new territory. The shutdown of Yuzu shook the scene last year. Pressure later hit Ryujinx too. Each time, new projects appeared, but progress slowed.

Right now, Nintendo Switch emulation still works, though uncertainty is growing. Developers may hesitate, updates may slow, and users will likely keep backups ready.
The bigger question is future hardware. If current tools mature, they could help early work on Nintendo Switch 2 emulation. That is probably where the real concern lies.
At the time of writing, nothing is fully gone. But the pattern suggests one thing: this battle will continue, and gamers should expect more twists ahead.
