The Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC finally has a date, and it is closer than many expected. Team Ninja has confirmed the expansion will launch on 4 March 2026, just months after the base game launched in October.
For a series known for difficulty, this feels less like bonus content and more like a second test.
Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters Release Date Reveal
Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC is not a small add-on. It brings three new story chapters that continue the fight against fiends, pushing both Yakumo and Ryu into tougher territory. Expect sharper enemy patterns and boss fights that will punish lazy play.
The new weapons change the rhythm. Yakumo’s Solitaire scythe is built for control and space. Ryu’s Jakotsumon gauntlets are fast and aggressive. Different tools, different tempo.
Then there is Abyssal Road. One hundred combat encounters. No shortcuts. Enemies from the base game and the DLC appear, alongside new mechanics like Special Blood Essence and Frenzied states that shift battles mid-fight. It sounds brutal by design.

Beyond content, Team Ninja is also rolling out balance tweaks and combat responsiveness improvements. That matters in a game where one mistake can cost everything.
The Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC will cost $14.99, while Deluxe owners get it included.
